We stock herman (testudo herman) and horsefield (testudo horsefield) tortoises. All our tortoises are captive bred. They grow up to 8' and they are vegetarian, so their diet predominantly consist of various types of greens and salads. Please note that nutritional value of Iceberg salad is poor. All tortoises need a vitamin/calcium supplement added to their food every day.

As for the general care, they are very easy to look after. When young they can be kept in a 36'/15'/15' size warm vivarium with UV lights in winter or a cold summer day. They can go out side on warm sunny spring or summer days. Sub adults need 3'/2'/2' foot vivarium and Adults 4'/2'/2' foot vivarium.

The tortoise alone will cost £120 or a little more.
